MÜSİAD UK is expanding its Health Sector in response to the increasing healthcare cooperation opportunities between Türkiye and the United Kingdom in recent years. Recognising the growing demand for structured collaboration, MÜSİAD UK has taken strategic steps to strengthen its presence and institutional capacity in the healthcare field.
In this context, Eda Baltepe—who has served for many years as a manager within the NHS and also owns a private elderly care services company—has been appointed as the Head of the MÜSİAD UK Health Sector Board.
The sector structure already includes leading healthcare stakeholders such as Acıbadem, X Imaging Ltd, Dental Imaging Services. The primary objective of this initiative is to guide investors who wish to invest in the healthcare sector, provide accurate information, and carry out institutional efforts to enhance the bilateral healthcare potential between Türkiye and the UK.
As part of these efforts, Eda Baltepe’s speech at the 3rd London International Health Tourism Expo in London attracted significant attention. During her presentation, she outlined five different healthcare investment models based on budget categories, offering practical insights for investors and sector professionals. Her comprehensive and structured approach was met with strong interest from attendees.
