Building Bridges Across the UK: MÜSİAD UK in Manchester

The MÜSİAD UK Networking Event in Manchester brought together over 50 business leaders, strengthening Türkiye–UK commercial and economic ties.

The event opened with MÜSİAD UK Chairwoman Türkan Akbaş sharing the association’s mission and member opportunities. Manchester Consul General Füsun Aramaz highlighted the city’s multicultural potential, while UK MP Afzal Khan spoke on growing trade relations.

MÜSİAD Chairman  of International Organization Selim Sar presented global collaboration opportunities and invited participants to MÜSİAD EXPO 2026 at the Istanbul Expo Center (23–26 Sept). Secretary General Özlem Bacak and sponsor Mehmet Nezir Korkut also addressed attendees.

The session concluded with gifts and networking, enabling new connections and business ideas. Participants emphasized Manchester’s potential and MÜSİAD’s global network, paving the way for future collaborations.
