✨ As MÜSİAD UK, we were proud to sponsor this year’s Open Iftar, sharing the Ramadan spirit with the Muslim community in London. The event took place on Saturday, 28 February 2026, at Shoreditch Town Hall. Together with YTB and the Yunus Emre Institute as sponsors, we celebrated one of the most memorable iftars of Ramadan with our members and participants. We would like to thank everyone who contributed and all our sponsors. The event also brought the spirit of Turkey to London with traditional Turkish delights such as baklava, Turkish tea, lokum, Turkish chocolates, and fruit juices. We would also like to extend our thanks to Event Manager Omar Shamdani and his team for their efforts in making this event possible. 🙏🇹🇷
At the iftar, the opening remarks were delivered by the Ambassador of Türkiye, H.E. Mr Osman Koray Ertaş, while the Chairwoman of MÜSİAD UK, Av. Turkan Akbaş, gave a widely appreciated speech highlighting Turkey’s values and MÜSİAD’s contributions. 🎙️✨
