MÜSİAD UK Membership Terms, Privacy Policy & Ethical Guidelines

1. Protection and Processing of Personal Data

MÜSİAD UK processes, stores and protects its members’ personal data in accordance with the provisions of the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

• The telephone number and Turkish ID number shared by members are only shared internally within MÜSİAD UK for membership management purposes.

• Other personal and corporate information may be shared with third parties for the purposes of business network development, promotion and cooperation.

Members have the right to request the correction or deletion of their personal data by contacting MÜSİAD UK. Data is stored only for as long as necessary for the membership process and legal obligations.

2. Membership Principles and Rules of Ethical Conduct

Members agree to comply with MÜSİAD UK’s commercial and social ethical principles, rules of integrity and moral standards.

MÜSİAD UK reserves the right to terminate the membership of any member who acts contrary to these principles or damages the reputation of the organisation.

In such cases, membership fees paid will not be refunded.

Members are obliged to always behave in a professional and respectful manner in MÜSİAD UK activities, whether online or in person.

3. Membership Packages, Duration and Renewal

Memberships are annual and are divided into three categories: Silver, Gold and Platinum.

• Membership packages can be upgraded during the year.

• However, it is not possible to downgrade to a lower package.

Membership expires at the end of one year. If not renewed, membership will be automatically terminated within 15 working days.

Members are responsible for the accuracy and currency of company information, logos and other content featured on MÜSİAD UK platforms.

4. Satisfaction and Member Rights

Members cannot claim a refund, compensation or any other rights if they are dissatisfied with their membership.

However, they have the right not to renew their membership for the next term.

5. Role of MÜSİAD UK and Disclaimer of Liability

MÜSİAD UK operates as a business network and commercial development platform.

It establishes connections between members and facilitates collaboration opportunities; however, it does not guarantee trade, profit, or specific business outcomes.

MÜSİAD UK accepts no legal or financial liability arising from commercial decisions, agreements, or transactions between members or third parties.

Any disputes or losses are entirely the responsibility of the parties involved.

6. Media and Brand Usage Permission

Members grant MÜSİAD UK permission to use company names, logos, and photographs taken at events for promotional and informational purposes on MÜSİAD UK platforms.

This usage does not grant the member any financial rights or entitlement to fees.

7. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

All disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

8. Right to Amend Terms

MÜSİAD UK reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions as necessary.

Members will be notified of any changes, and continued membership shall constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
