🇬🇧 MÜSİAD United Kingdom | Visit to the Office of the Chief Commercial Counsellor
Our MÜSİAD United Kingdom President, lawyer Türkan Akbaş, paid a courtesy visit to congratulate our newly appointed Chief Commercial Counsellor.
During the meeting, discussions covered the current position of Turkish companies operating in the United Kingdom, support available from the Ministry of Trade, and areas for cooperation between the two institutions.
It was shared that nearly 200 units belonging to approximately 145 Turkish companies operating in the UK benefit from Ministry of Trade support. In addition to rental support, various support mechanisms for promotion, trade fairs, information technology, health tourism and exports were discussed.
The meeting also addressed the commercial aspects of the AGİK UK programme to be held in London on 28–29 November 2026, increasing participating companies’ engagements in the UK market, and developing new business partnerships through the programme.
Both parties agreed to maintain regular information sharing and coordination between MÜSİAD United Kingdom and the Office of the Chief Commercial Counsellor.
